Who wrote the work shot the main characters. Main characters: "Tales of Belkin"
The Belkin Tale cycle was created during the Boldino Autumn period in 1830. This was the period when, due to the onset of cholera, quarantine was announced for entry and exit to St. Petersburg and Pushkin was forced to spend the entire autumn until the end of quarantine at the Boldino estate. The stories were published in 1831. The publication was anonymous, that is, Pushkin attributed authorship to a certain Belkin. The cycle consists of five stories, which, allegedly, were once told to the author by the late Ivan Petrovich Belkin. These are the stories: “The Young Lady-Peasant Woman”, “The Undertaker”, “The Stationmaster”, “Snowstorm” and “Shot”.
The idea of the cycle is that the author showed all the floors of Russian society, from top to bottom. Here everything is stated concisely and simply, there is not a single superfluous word. Pushkin does not explain the actions of his heroes, much less indulges in lengthy explanations of the motives for their actions. Nevertheless, the reader perfectly understands the motives of the actions of his heroes, with their advantages and disadvantages.
The characters of the stories are not bright individuals, like most of Pushkin's heroes. They are typical representatives of their environment. In the foreground they have a household side. But Pushkin's construction of the story, the development of the plot, the climax and happy denouement keep the reader's interest throughout the story.
Analysis of works
Shot
The plot of the story is quite simple. The hero of the story, Silveo, being a remarkable nature in everything that concerned the hussar daring, hated his no less worthy young rival. It came to a duel, during which his opponent showed such indifference to death that Silveo did not shoot, reserving the right to shoot. For many years he waited for the right opportunity for revenge, until finally he received the news of the marriage of his enemy. Appearing to him with a demand to realize his shot, he received complete satisfaction by humiliating him in front of his wife. In parting, he quite accurately shot at the picture, leaving a hole in it, which served as an occasion for memories.
The protagonist of the story is a personality, of course, strong and outstanding. But, all his virtues fade against the background of his envy of a more successful opponent. Envy, as you know, a man, especially a hussar, does not paint in any way. His dignity fades even more from petty vindictiveness. These qualities are all the more aggravated when he terrifies the count's wife by aiming at him. However, at the last moment, something stops him from killing. I think that the true reason is not so important, something else is more important, a person did not kill another person. It is quite possible that at this moment true human feelings woke up in the main character.
Such an ending is characteristic of that Pushkinian spirit, which gives so much spiritual warmth to Belkin's Tales. He convinces the reader without too much pathos to believe in the triumph of "good feelings" over the stupid and useless rules of society. The nobility of Silveo may seem spontaneous, but it is the quality of the soul that originally lived in him.
Blizzard
A kind of play of situations. Fatal and happy accidents, which play an important role in the story. The romantic heroine of the story, Marya Gavrilovna, agrees to a secret marriage with Vladimir, who was rejected by her parents. As a result of a fatal accident, more precisely because of a strong snowstorm, the heroine marries an unknown hussar. Vladimir goes to war with Napoleon and dies. As a result of a chain of happy accidents, the story comes to a happy ending.
In the characterization of the main character, the author immediately notes that she was brought up on French novels, which is why she is in love. It is possible that she liked Vladimir because she had read novels. This already testifies to the frivolity of her character, as well as to her romanticism. Vladimir does not lag behind Maria at all. Such a romantic. He is inclined to dream of a secret wedding, after which, in his opinion, the parents will be touched and will give them their blessing. His reasoning is somewhat reminiscent of one of Gogol's heroes, Manilov. When circumstances call for action, he is, by and large, incapable of anything.
The author does not hide his ironic attitude towards the characters with their passion for romantic fashion. But when war comes into play, things change. Any war opens the souls of people, leaving only the true. Romantic Vladimir dies heroically, becomes a hero. Burmin, for fun, married to an unknown girl, now looks at it differently and is looking for his unknown wife in order to marry his beloved. The best pages of the story are a description of the blizzard, the main character of the story, who played a fatal role for Vladimir and a happy one for Marya Gavrilovna and Burmin.
Undertaker
Here we find ourselves in an environment of merchants and artisans. The main characters here are the undertaker Adrian Prokhorov, his daughters and friends. Heroes are not preoccupied with romantic fantasies, they firmly walk the earth and solve earthly problems. Such as the upcoming rich funeral of the merchant Tryukhina, which may be intercepted by competitors. The death of a person for such as an undertaker is just an opportunity to earn money. Even in his sleep, he views his dead clients only in terms of their profitability. In the dead who came to visit Adrian, the author vividly reflected the social relations that existed at that time in society.
Pushkinsky small man- this is the progenitor of Gogol's Akaki Bashmachkin. An official who can be beaten by noble passers-by. Confident that his daughter Dunya, stolen by a passing hussar, is abandoned by him, wishes her death. However, the opposite is happening. Hussar Minsky, who turned out to be a worthy man, married Dunya. The father's expectations were not justified, his daughter became rich and noble. However, the sophisticated reader understands that Samson Vyrin still lost his daughter. Vyrin's world and Minsky's world are separated by a huge pit, which he is unable to overcome. Dunya was able to step over it without hesitation only thanks to her blind love for Minsky and female spontaneity.
However, she did not have the courage to go further and step over the rules of the "decent" society in which she found herself. In fact, she abandoned her father. Her subsequent visit to the grave of her father is just an attempt to calm her conscience. If the end had been as Vyrin assumed, then another story would have come out about an unfortunate gullible girl and a scoundrel-seducer, of whom there were many at that time. However, Pushkin is much deeper and more realistic. It would seem that the happy ending of the story leaves a tragic aftertaste.
young lady-peasant
This is the last story in the cycle. In many ways, it resembles a vaudeville story with dressing up. The characters here are also romantic, but their romanticism is born not from French novels, but from their natures. In addition, the romanticism of the heroes is active. They are fighting for their happiness, Alexei is ready to make a sacrifice for the sake of his beloved and give up his father's fortune.
The heroine of the story, Lisa, the daughter of a wealthy gentleman, disguised as a peasant woman, meets Alexei Berestov in the forest and the young people fall in love. Aleksey, sincerely considering Liza-Akulina a peasant, decides to marry her, despising social prejudices. A worthy decision for a young man, I must admit. Characterizes him from the best side. Respect for him is especially enhanced when he is ready to give up wealth for the sake of his beloved girl. This characterizes him not only as an honest and noble person, but also a brave one. The masquerade image of Liza helped to reveal the true feelings of the heroes when ordinary Russian people opened up in them.
The work of A. S. Pushkin predetermined the development of Russian literature, laid the foundations of the modern Russian language.
The composition of the story "Shot" is interesting and difficult due to its multi-level nature, which is created by several storytellers and a complex plot. A. S. Pushkin himself, who is on the top rung of the compositional ladder, formally transfers the authorship to Ivan Petrovich Belkin. Imaginary "authorship" leads to the creation of a multi-level text, and this, in turn, allows you to more deeply and broadly capture reality, describe mores, tell about the fate and aspirations of the characters. Against the background of exceptional events, a generalized picture of reality is developed, exceptional events themselves obey the laws of everyday reality, specific time and space.
The heroes of the story initially find themselves in a situation where there is love. They are in love or are waiting for this feeling, but it is from here that the deployment and forcing of significant plot events begins.
The central character of the story is the former hussar Silvio. “He was about thirty-five years old ... Experience gave him ... many advantages; besides, his usual sullenness, tough temper and evil tongue had a strong influence on young ... minds. Some mystery surrounded his fate; he seemed Russian, but wore foreign name... He had books for the most part military, yes novels. He willingly gave them to read, never demanding them back; but he never returned to the owner of the book he occupied. His main exercise consisted in shooting from a pistol. He was surrounded by some kind of mystery, and, probably, it was she who was the reason for the general interest in him.
Another hero (the author does not name him) was in no way inferior to Silvio. It was "a young man of a rich and noble family." Here is how Silvio speaks of him: “Imagine youth, intelligence, beauty, the most frenzied gaiety, the most careless courage, a big name, money with which he did not know the account and which he had never transferred, and imagine what action he must was to produce between us ... I hated him. His successes in the regiment and in the society of women led me to complete despair ... I began to look for quarrels with him ... "
Being the central component of a literary text, the character turns out to be associated with movement. storylines, which leads to a dynamic image. At the beginning of the story, the indifference of Silvio's rival is emphasized: “He stood under a pistol, choosing ripe cherries from his cap and spitting out the bones that reached me. His indifference infuriated me ... ". In the finale, his confusion is noticeable: “I felt how my hair suddenly stood on end on me”
The thought of revenge does not leave Silvio. The understanding of honor is turned upside down for him: one insult is not washed away with blood due to the fact that the previous duel has not been completed.
At the end of the story, the author shows that Silvio nevertheless received reassurance, it was important for him not to kill his opponent, but simply to amuse his pride: “I won’t,” Silvio answered, “I am pleased: I saw your confusion, your timidity; I made you shoot me, I've had enough. You will remember me. I commit you to your conscience."
Silvio did not kill his opponent, but nevertheless he triumphed over him, saw his weakness. For him, the main thing was not just to harm the offender, but to see his fear, trample, humiliate him, show his superiority. The power and strength of his spirit not only amaze with its elemental beauty, but also frighten with its frightening, destructive beauty. His soul is dehumanized by pride. This is how the contradiction between the concept of noble honor, inherent in a particular time and a certain stratum of people, and universal human values is manifested.
Satisfying the evil feeling, Silvio brings grief to the count's wife, who is not involved in the conflict. But after the scene of experiences of the count's couple, the heroic death of the hero, eternally driven by his passions, is mentioned.
In his works, A. S. Pushkin teaches us a wise attitude to life, nobility, tolerant attitude towards people around and close to us.
"Shot" ... But after all, in Pushkin's story there is not one shot, but at least three: 1) the count shoots Silvio during the first duel, 2) the count shoots Silvio during the second duel, and, finally, 3) Silvio shoots picture in the count's office at their last meeting. And if we also remember the unrealized shots ... What is only the refusal of Silvio from the opportunity to punish the officer who fired a copper shandal at him for the impudence! “I would never forgive him,” declares the hero, “if I could punish R *** without exposing my life at all”1. Life is essential to him. In order to take revenge. However, very soon, Silvio literally forces the count to shoot him. But it could also happen that the act of retribution would never have been realized ...
No, “it won't be an exaggeration if we say that the image of the main character of The Shot, Silvio, is a mystery.”2 And that means the story as a whole. Each new study brings us closer to solving this riddle. The reasons for the behavior of the characters in the work of O.Ya. Povolotskaya "Shot": collision and meaning"3. It seems that nothing can be added to what has already been said in the work. And yet there was one nuance that the researchers did not seem to pay attention to.
This nuance concerns the time of the story. What do we know about this?
“I drank the glorious Burtsev, sung by Denis Davydov,” Silvio reports about himself. Aleksey Petrovich Burtsov (Burtsev), as you know, is a real person, captain of the Belarusian hussar regiment, “Russian Lassalle”, to whom Denis Davydov dedicated three poems in 1804: “Burtsov”, “Call for punch” and “Hussar feast”. Consequently, Silvio's fateful meeting with Prince B. could not have happened before this year.
We also know that the conflict between the two rake reached its climax "at a ball at the Polish landowner"4. And it happened in the spring. “The spring sun had risen and the heat was already humming” when the count “stood under a pistol, picking ripe cherries from his cap.”5 It seems that for Pushkin’s contemporaries this information was enough to determine the time and place of the events described. The fact is that in 1806-1807 Russia participated in the Russian-Prussian-French war. "The campaign in Poland and East Prussia was launched by Napoleon with the aim of inflicting a decisive battle on the Russians, winning it and dictating the terms of peace"6. In January 1807, a general battle took place, which did not reveal a clear winner. “Both sides were drained of blood by a three-month fruitless struggle and were glad of the onset of mudslides, which put an end to hostilities until May”7. Thus, the spring of 1807 is the starting point from which the events of the story probably begin chronologically.
Let's try to trace this chronology:
1) the spring of 1807 - the appearance in the *** hussar regiment, where Silvio served, the young Count B., the conflict between them, duel No. 1;
2) 1813 (“Six years ago I received a slap in the face,” Silvio reports) - events in the town ***, where I.L.P. and perfects his diabolical art Silvio. Duel #2. Most likely, in the spring or summer, because, returning from a horseback ride, the count saw a man "DUSTED and overgrown with a beard." In addition, the royal manifesto on the end Patriotic War signed in December 1812. Probably, after this, the count decides to resign.
3) Beginning of June 1818. (It is known that the count married five years ago). Meeting of Lieutenant Colonel I.L.P. with the count and his wife.
4) June 29, 1821 - the death of Silvio in the battle near Skulyany.
So, since Silvio, according to Lieutenant Colonel I.L.P., was about 35 years old in 1813, and the count, according to the same eyewitness, was 32 years old in 1818, then at the time of their meeting Silvio was about 29, and the count was only 21. At the same time, the behavior of the latter in a duel is “a brilliant deadly game, a demonstration of complete invulnerability, ... complete contempt for everything, including his own death.”8 Is it any wonder if, in the eyes of almost thirty-year-old Silvio, the young count is “almost and the young god is free and laughing, knowing neither pity nor fear.”9
Wounded pride prompts Silvio to quit everything, give up his career and settle in the "poor hut" of the "poor place" for six years. How many times during these six years did he mentally kill his enemy?.. Even the twelfth year didn't change anything... It didn't change for Silvio, but not for the count. Judging by his story about the final of their duel with Silvio: “I shot and, thank God, I missed”10, this miss for the count is a happy accident. He also had a chance to practice shooting accuracy, only not in his yard, but on the battlefield. Silvio knows this and probably means it when he informs the narrator: "My enemy is still alive"11.
It was thanks to the participation of the count in the war with Napoleon that “between the count, with lordly12 ease, hitting Silvio in the face, and the count, telling the provincial neighbor-landowner the story of his crime, a whole life passed, morally regenerating the arrogant aristocrat into a person capable of respecting his human dignity in everyone »?13 And for Silvio, in addition to all the previous virtues of the count, the halo of the winner who defended the freedom and honor of his Fatherland was added. And although Silvio declares to the bewildered count: “I saw your confusion, your timidity; I made you shoot at me, that's enough for me”14, - the point in their absentee duel has not yet been set. In order to equalize the positions, Silvio must also defend not only his personal dignity. Does he defend his homeland in the battle near Skulyan? “Silvio (THUS I WILL CALL HIM),”15 the narrator notes, so the real name of the hero is probably unknown to us. Yes, it's probably not that important. One thing is obvious: the years between the two duels and for him did not pass without a trace. “I betray you to your conscience,”16 such a parting word could only be uttered by someone who himself is closely acquainted with this unceremonious mistress.
What is the result? What, in fact, did Alexander Sergeevich want to tell us? In the work of E.A. Lyashenko “Romantic heroine in the love collisions of A.S. Pushkin’s Belkin’s Tales” convincingly shows that Pushkin “destroys the stereotypes of ideas about the forms of love behavior”17, but the destruction affected not only love collisions. As you know, fate is a villain, and for the heroes of the Snowstorm, she is mercy itself. According to the majority, coffin masters are indifferent, absolutely insensitive people to everything, but Adrian Prokhorov is afraid of the dead to death and is ashamed BEFORE THEM for his scams with coffins.
“Duels in our regiment happened every minute: I was either a witness or a protagonist at everyone,” says Silvio. The duel became for him, and for everyone, a habit, a routine, like a glass of vodka before dinner. Any trifle - “Kuzka, a gun! Kuzka brings him a loaded pistol. It pops…”19 But a man is not a fly! Between Silvio, "the first brawler in the army", and Silvio, FEELING: "the bullet is heavy"20, also lay whole life- long in anticipation of a delayed shot.

Silvio is the main character in A.S. Pushkin "Shot", which is included in the collection "Belkin's Tale". Like all romantic characters, he is an honest, decent man with magnetism, and his past is covered with an aura of mystery.
A regiment was stationed in the character's area of residence. The protagonist often invites officers to visit him and listens with great interest to their stories, while he is silent and extremely evasive when they begin to ask about his past. As it often happens, such mystique draws people to Silvio, as if teasing their curiosity. Those around, especially those who keep a close acquaintance with the protagonist, cannot help asking questions that remain unanswered to their annoyance.
Despite the fact that Silvio does not like to talk about himself, those around him know that he is a decent, honest man. Everyone in the area also knows that he is an excellent shooter. He never misses and his library is filled with books on weapons and techniques. However, despite his skill, he never once again shows it, he never participates in officer duels.
Such a confluence leads to rumors that Silvio was involved in terrible events, after which he became such a strange and mysterious person. But everything changes when a letter unexpectedly arrives, after which main character decides to leave, having arranged a farewell dinner, at which he tells the truth about himself to one of the officers.
While still young, he served in one regiment when a new officer entered the service. Silvio was immediately imbued with antipathy for a colleague, in fact it was simple envy. The new officer was a young count, handsome, rich, successful with women. It seemed to the main character that he was worse than the newcomer, that he had taken the championship from him in the regiment, and did not want to make friends with the newcomer. He was looking for a reason to quarrel, and she appeared, a duel was to take place. The count fired first and hit his opponent's cap. But when Silvio took aim, the young count stood and ate cherries. This outraged, even more the main character was imbued with anger towards the opponent, and decided that he would not shoot now, but would wait for a better moment for revenge. And he falls out. But everything has already changed: now the count is afraid of death. This becomes enough for Silvio.
After dinner with the officers, Silvio leaves. Again, his life is shrouded in mystery, it is not known to the end what happened to him, perhaps he died in the war.
What drives the main character? Desire for revenge or envy? Being a romantic character, he is still a realistic hero. Like many, he experienced simple human feelings: he was consumed by envy, then a desire to avenge his wounded pride, but he was able to overcome this, preventing himself from doing the wrong thing. And there is no stronger opponent than ourselves.
Essay on the theme of Silvio in the story Shot
Silvio is the main character of the story and A.S. Pushkin's "Shot". As a retired officer, he lives in a small county town. At the very beginning of the work, the hero is presented to the reader as a romantic and mysterious character. He has such character traits as nobility and honesty. Silvio often invites officers from the regiment stationed in this place. He feeds them lunch and treats them with champagne, the officers play cards and stay late at Silvio's house. The hero of the story never talks about his past, his speeches are sharp and laconic.
The hero is a very good shooter, every day he practices this art. His library is filled with books on weapons, Silvio's gun never misses a beat. However, the hero prefers not to participate in duels, he will be ashamed to resolve conflicts peacefully. The officers think that Silvio has some kind of guilt in his soul before his last victim.
Everything is clarified when the hero receives a letter and decides to leave. Before leaving, he tells his story. A few years ago, when Silvio was still serving, a new officer entered their regiment. That officer was young and handsome, and besides, he was successful with women. The hero immediately became imbued with antipathy towards him, having become accustomed to always leading in everything, he was imbued with envy and anger towards the officer. And so he began to look for a reason for a duel. It was not difficult to find a reason, the young officer got the first shot in the draw, but he missed. Then it was Silvio's turn. But the hero did not shoot, seeing how much his opponent did not value life: before the shot, the officer ate the cherry he had brought. This greatly hurt Silvio's pride, and he retired, leaving the right of the last shot behind him. For many years, the hero has been waiting for the right moment, and now it has come: his opponent in a duel has recently married. Now everything is changing: the young count is afraid of death and this is enough for Silvio.
Silvmo's life is filled with a sense of hurt pride and a desire for revenge. But still, the hero turns out to be stronger than his own feelings, he does not make a fatal shot, for which he has been preparing for many years. This is the strength of the character's character.
Option 3
Silvio is the protagonist of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin's story "The Shot" from the collection "Belkin's Tale".
He was a retired officer, that is, a hussar. Silvio was about thirty-five years old. He is a noble, honest, intelligent, experienced and courageous person. He lived in a poor village. His house looked like an ordinary rural hut. Silvio is not a poor man, but he wore old clothes and never drove a car. He never cares what others say about him. He used to be the first in everything. Once a regiment was stationed in his area. He willingly invited them to visit, generously fed, treated them to champagne. Once he had ten officers visiting him, they then drank a lot. Silvio happily listened to the stories of his friends. But when he was asked questions, he avoided answering. But still, the people with whom he communicated more often could not restrain their curiosity. Silvio didn't tell his friends much at all. Unlike his friends, the hussar rarely played cards. He's the best shooter in the area. At home he has a bunch of books on shooting techniques. In addition to these books, he has others. But he has a strange rule. If he gives the book to someone, he does not demand a return. And when they give him something to read, he does not give the book away. Silvio never misses, but at the same time he does not participate in duels. He practiced every day, improving his shooting technique. All the walls of his room were riddled with bullet holes. In addition to books, he has a whole collection of pistols.
Little is known about Silvio's past.
He is a very touchy and vindictive person. During his service, a new one came to the regiment. He was handsome and successful with women. Silvio envied him and wanted everything to be able to challenge him to a duel. And she appeared. The opponent hit his cap, Silvio took aim, but did not shoot. He was outraged that the opponent just stood there and ate cherries. Silvio said he would use his shot later, at a more opportune moment. And then he received a letter in which it was said where the count is now. Silvio went to shoot. But he didn't fire. He took pity on him. He had enough of a strong fright in the eyes of the count, who had just married and did not want to lose everything because of an incident that happened a long time ago. Silvio shot at the painting before leaving. Perhaps he wanted to intimidate the count.
After this incident, Silvio took part in the uprising in Greece. There he died.
Sample 4
At first glance, Silvio is a complex person, a tangle of contradictions. The narrator, a young officer, met him when the military unit was stationed in a provincial village. Silvio lived in a poor hut, walked around in shabby clothes. However, the decoration of his home was “a luxurious collection of pistols. In addition, he had many books, military and novels. This indicated the diversity of his interests and the complexity of nature. Silvio dealt with books in a rather strange way - he willingly gave them to read, but never demanded them back. However, he also did not return the books taken from someone. Despite the obvious poverty, he "kept an open table for officers", inviting up to ten people to visit and "decorating" the meal with a large amount of champagne.
Silvio's character was gloomy, but despite his tough temper and evil tongue, he influenced the minds of junior officers who respected him for his experience, insight and some mystery. The fact is that earlier he “served in the hussars, and even happily. But no one knew the reason that prompted him to retire and settle in a poor place. Most of all, everyone was struck by the incredible accuracy of shooting, which Silvio showed. He practiced this art every day, and the walls of his hut were covered with bullet marks.
A series of subsequent events greatly changed the attitude of the officers towards Silvio. When, while playing cards, he was insulted by one of the players and almost did not react to this, everyone was waiting for a challenge to a duel. But he wasn't. Among the officers, such behavior was revered as cowardice, but no one dared to blame Silvio for this. The narrator, who managed to become attached to the owner of the house, suffered the most. And only on the eve of Silvio's sudden departure did they have a frank conversation that clarified the essence of the matter.
There are people for whom their own importance in the eyes of others becomes the main feeling. And such a person is capable of any meanness in order to humiliate the offender who hurt this feeling. Six years ago, when Silvio was a hussar and a recognized leader among colleagues (both in drinking and in duels, relationships with women and "coolness" of character), a new officer appeared there, brilliant in every way. He was young, handsome, intelligent, belonged to a famous family, had selfless courage and a cheerful disposition. Besides, he was rich. “My primacy was shaken,” Silvio decided. And he hated the opponent, rejecting the offer of friendship. It was then that his petty and vengeful nature manifested itself completely. Seeing the attention to the opponent from the women at one of the balls, he rudely insulted him, for which he received a slap in the face.
A duel followed. Having ceded the right of the first shot to the enemy, in order to calm down and not make a mistake, Silvio waited. The enemy showed no trepidation, shot through his cap ... and continued to eat cherries. The ostentatious indifference of the young man infuriated Silvio to the limit. And then he made the meanest decision in his life - to wait for the moment when the enemy would have something to lose, and then continue the duel. He waited six years. Continuously improving your shooting skills, not getting involved in fights... And now this moment has come - the enemy is happily married! Silvio arrived and demanded the continuation of the duel. At the same time, he was playing for time, prolonging the torment of the enemy ... He fired first and shot through the picture. Ignoring the desperation of a young woman who ran in at the sound of a gunshot and fell at his feet, Silvio enjoyed revenge by making mocking conversations. And only when the enemy was indignant, Silvio came out, shooting through the picture - a bullet in a bullet. Petty envy was finally satisfied.
The Kuragin family in Leo Tolstoy's novel "War and Peace" is the most repulsive and unpredictable in its actions and deeds.
Many works of Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol, the great classic of Russian literature, are aimed at ridiculing social vices.
How often do we hear about some heroic deed of this or that person. Among us live people who are capable of actions that distinguish them from most people.

Here is how Silvio speaks of him: “Imagine youth, intelligence, beauty, the most frenzied gaiety, the most careless courage, a big name, money with which he did not know the account and which he had never transferred, and imagine what action he must was to produce between us ... I hated him. His successes in the regiment and in the society of women led me to complete despair ... I began to look for quarrels with him ... "
Being the central component of the literary text, the character is associated with the movement of storylines, which leads to the dynamism of the image.
The author resolves all conflicts in an extraordinary, but quite real way. In his works, A. S. Pushkin teaches us a wise attitude to life, nobility, tolerant attitude towards people around and close to us.
