Tuile Cookies – Tuiles
Tuile is translated from French as tile. Delicate cookies just melt in your mouth! Fragile, crispy, so thin it's almost transparent... It can be any shape you want! But most often these are curved petals that resemble tiles - hence the name. In general, tuile can be used as molds for some creamy dessert or ice cream. Almonds are often added to traditional cookies, which make them even tastier! I recommend trying it with or without them, especially if you don’t bother with petals; as a rule, we always have all the other ingredients in our kitchen. In general, everyone needs to bake tiles urgently!Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients for 25-35 pieces:
- 120 g Sugar
- 1 Yolk + 3 White
- 30 g Butter
- 50 g flour
- A pinch of salt
- 120 g Almond Petals
Cooking method:
Grind, thoroughly mix together the yolk, sugar and softened butter to the maximum. Add flour and, without kneading for a long time, combine.
Beat the whites with a pinch of salt into a stable foam. Gently but thoroughly stir in the remaining ingredients. Almond petals are added at the very end, quickly but carefully mixed into the total mass. You can try baking some cookies with them and some without them, calculating the number of petals accordingly.
Using a spoon, spread the mixture in small quantities onto a baking sheet lined with high-quality baking paper or, best of all, silicone. Then, using a spatula or the same spoon, spread it into thin pancakes.
ATTENTION: Silicone or Teflon baking paper is best suited for baking these cookies; tuile can stick to bad paper and cannot be removed. If you don’t have silicone and you’re not sure about the paper, grease a clean, smooth baking sheet with oil and bake like that.
Bake in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for 5-6 minutes. When the edges of the cookies are nicely browned, take them out. It is easy to burn, so be very careful.
After the oven, quickly but carefully remove the cookies from the baking sheet and place them on a rolling pin or bottle, so they will take on a curved shape. Thanks to its plasticity, immediately after the oven it can become anything. So, if you place it on a small bowl, you can get an edible mold for some dessert, for example, ice cream!
Tuile Cookies – Tuiles
Let the cookies dry well on a wire rack without stacking them on top of each other. Otherwise it won't be crispy. These cookies quickly absorb all the moisture, so they need to be stored in a tightly closed container in a dry place. And even better - eat it right away! Bon appetit!

We will turn everyone who does not yet know how to cook pilaf into a venerable cooking guru who makes the most delicious pilaf in the world. After all, this is not a complicated process at all. All you need is to collect the products and follow the instructions described. Step-by-step recipe with photos.
Recipe contents:
Pilaf has been the most popular dish of the East since time immemorial. This honorable dish was served for any occasion, incl. and at major holidays, weddings and funerals. The main ingredients of the dish are meat and rice. But, despite such a meager set of products, the dish has many secrets.
- Many chefs are sure that the best pilaf is cooked over an open fire in a cast iron cauldron. But modern recipes are so diverse that every housewife can show her imagination and create her own unique culinary masterpiece at home on the stove in a frying pan. The main thing is that the frying pan is thick-bottomed, preferably cast iron.
- Another belief is that pilaf must certainly be prepared from lamb (breast, ribs, shoulder or meat from the back of the lamb). However, in the East, cooks successfully use beef, pork and poultry. The main thing is that the meat has layers of fat, then the pilaf will be tasty and aromatic. But you shouldn’t take frozen meat, it won’t make tasty pilaf.
- The second main ingredient of pilaf is rice. To make the pilaf crumbly, it is better to take long-grain varieties with a low starch content. These include Tajik and Uzbek rice. It is dense, with transparent grains, does not boil over, absorbs water well and remains crumbly after cooling. Mexican, Arabic and Italian rice is intended exclusively for paella. Indian, Thai and Vietnamese varieties of rice stick together when cooked. You won't be able to swim well with them. But if there is no other option, then rinse the rice first with cold water and soak for 2-3 hours, changing the water to remove starch.
- Traditionally, real pilaf is cooked with fat tail fat, ghee or vegetable oils. Using animal fat, pilaf will be fattier and more satisfying, and the dish will have a specific smell. Less high-calorie food will be prepared using refined, odorless oil. Often, in order to kill the aroma and improve the digestibility of pilaf, fat tail fat is mixed with vegetable oil.
- Calorie content per 100 g - 359 kcal.
- Number of servings - 4
- Cooking time - 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- Meat - 1 kg (recipe calls for pork)
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Saffron - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Odorless vegetable oil - for frying
- Rice - 200 g
- Ground sweet red pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- Garlic - 3 heads
- Seasoning for pilaf - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step preparation of pilaf in 30 minutes, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat and dry it with a paper towel. Trim off excess fat, veins and film. Cut into medium sized pieces. The meat in pilaf should be juicy, so it is better to cut it into large pieces, the size of a walnut.
2. Peel the carrots, wash and cut into 1x3 cm pieces.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan and place the meat so that it is located in one row. This way the pork will be fried, and if you pile it up in a mountain, it will be stewed, which will cause it to lose its juiciness.
4. When the pork gets a light golden brown crust, add carrots to it.
5. Fry the meat and carrots for about 5 minutes. If necessary, add oil, because... carrots love fat and actively absorb it. Then season the food with saffron, pilaf seasoning and sweet pepper. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Stir and fry the products for 5 minutes.
7. Peel the garlic from the top dirty husk, leaving the last layer. Wash it and place it in a frying pan with meat and carrots.
8. Wash the rice, thoroughly rinsing off the starch, and place it in the pan in an even layer. Add a little salt and do not stir.
Before consumption, products undergo culinary processing. The choice of cooking method depends on the properties of the starting products and the dish we want to prepare. The main cooking techniques are boiling, frying, stewing and baking. Often recipes do not indicate the exact cooking time. For example, we may encounter the following instructions - “boil the potatoes”, “add vegetables to the meat and simmer until cooked”, “hard boil the eggs” or “boil the squid”. A novice cook will ask the question: “How to determine this readiness?” or “How long should I cook potatoes?” and so on. While we do not have rich culinary experience, various culinary tables may well be useful to us. For example, one that would contain information about cooking time(cooking, frying and stewing) of certain products - vegetables, meat, cereals, eggs, etc.

If you wish, you can sprinkle with parsley or add olives to give the pizza a more piquant taste. You can add tomatoes and several types of cheese - if desired. Lubricate everything with mayonnaise and ketchup (to taste and optional). Place the pan over low heat, cover it with a lid and wait for the pizza to cook. You can check its readiness with a spatula from below. Make sure the heat is low and the pizza doesn't burn. 4) Potato pizza with hunting sausages Ingredients: - peeled potatoes 700 g - eggs 2 pcs. - flour 2 tbsp. - garlic 3-4 cloves - salt, pepper to taste For the filling: - sour cream 3 tbsp. - Dijon mustard 1 tsp. - smoked hunting sausages 250 g - sweet paprika 1 pc. - cherry tomatoes 150 g - grated cheese 150 g - green onions to taste Preparation: Cut the onion into half rings and lightly fry. For 875 mg of flour, take 5 mg of sugar, 250 ml of heated water, 15 mg of dry yeast, 30 ml of melted butter and two pinches of salt. Chop the mushrooms (as small as possible), onions (in half rings) and peppers (in medium pieces). In a frying pan, fry peppers, mushrooms and onions separately. Transfer to separate plates, previously lined with paper kitchen napkins/towels to remove excess fat. Cuts tomatoes into rings and sausage into small thin strips. Grate (large) cheese. Roll out the dough and place in a greased pan. Let it sit for 7-8 minutes. We stretch the gathered dough so that it reaches the very edges and make small bends along the edge. Now grease the dough with ketchup and lay out the filling in this order: onions, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, cheese. We make a mesh (as thin as possible) from mayonnaise on top and lay out the tomatoes. Bake for 10 minutes. First preheat the oven to 2300. Take out the pizza and cover it briefly with kitchen paper towels and let it stand for 5-6 minutes. We cut into portions and decorate with parsley. This kind of pizza in the oven, and even if you prepare the dough yourself, will be tasty even when cold, and will last for more than one day (although this is probably unlikely).
