Keber does not ignite. Apparatus heating gas. When the device does not turn on, the fire is very weak or immediately goes out
Zvezda-Strela Trading House LLC has been producing heating equipment under the Keber trademark since 2006. A responsible approach to the development of each model made this technique very popular in the domestic market. Today, many experts emphasize the special adaptability of Keber gas boilers to very difficult Russian conditions.
Units produced in our country have always been considered more adapted to the climatic difficulties of the far north. And in this context, the Keber gas boiler can rightfully be considered one of the leading developments of Russian engineers.
The equipment supplied to the domestic market under the Keber brand is designed for full-fledged heat supply to premises for various purposes. Some units have a dual-circuit design, which makes it possible not only to maintain optimal temperature in a house or apartment, but also provide for residents hot water in year-round mode.
Natural gas as a universal type of fuel is an ideal solution for the Russian consumer. And that is why the manufacturing company has focused its attention on this category of heating products.
Each Keber gas boiler is a tandem of reliability and durability. The minimum life of the system is 15 years. Naturally, with proper maintenance and careful attitude to the main components of the structure, the actual service life is significantly extended. Keber equipment complies with Russian quality standards, which is an additional guarantee of its long service life.
The boilers are equipped with special burners that provide stable heating of the coolant. We are talking about a special mechanism "Danko", consisting of the so-called pipe nozzle. The latter has high anti-corrosion properties. The special design of "Danko" ensures the most efficient combustion of fuel, even if the flame height reaches seven centimeters. It is important to note that the “Danko” nozzle is a certified design, which is fully consistent with foreign analogues in terms of quality.
Keber gas boilers have a small combustion chamber, the size of which has been reduced due to the use of the same Danko design. During the operation of the unit, a small amount of fuel is consumed, which indicates the efficiency of the equipment.
Keber devices are equipped with time-tested Arbat automation, which is designed to regulate the operation of the boiler and make it safe. The technique provides five levels of protection for the unit. In the event of a pressure drop in the water or gas supply system, the Keber boiler turns off on its own. Also, the unit is able to cope with many other non-standard situations. What is important, the design of the automation itself is quite simple, which increases its reliability and facilitates repairs in the event of a malfunction.
Despite the fact that the Arbat automation deserves high praise, in some aspects it is still far from ideal, which is the famous Italian development EUROSIT. Keber, a manufacturer of gas boilers, in an effort to meet the needs of all categories of potential buyers, optionally offers boilers equipped with the EUROSIT system. When buying a model in this configuration, the consumer can fully rely on automation and enjoy constant heat in his house or apartment.
Keber boilers: possible malfunctions
Of course, there are no engineering developments that are ideal in all respects. And if we are talking about domestic units, then the consumer all the more needs to be prepared for a variety of "surprises". This trend does not bypass heating equipment. For Keber gas boilers, malfunctions are quite common. That is why it makes sense to list the main ones:
- Unstable operation of the igniter. As a rule, cleaning the jet solves the problem. In some cases, it is necessary to check the meter, as it may not pass gas into the system in the required amount.
- The burner goes out a few minutes after the start of operation. There can be many reasons for the failure. The most common is the failure of their thrust sensor. In this case, experts recommend contacting professional repairmen.
- Lack of gas supply to the injectors. If the unit is equipped with domestic Arbat automation, then, most likely, the stem has jammed in the middle part of the structure. You can drop a little machine oil yourself, after which you need to check the automation for gas leaks. If it was not possible to eliminate the cause of the malfunction, it is recommended to call a specialist.
Of course, it will not be possible to list all the possible problems that arise during the operation of Keber boilers in one article. However, we managed to consider the most common. At the same time, we strongly recommend that you do not engage in self-repair if you are not confident in your own skills and professionalism.

Boiler KS-G-8P
Installed boiler Keber. What to do if the main burner, when turned on, takes gas, but there is no longer enough for the igniter? How to adjust it? Automation Eurosit-630.
Check the gas pressure in front of the automation. Static and dynamic. When the main burner is turned on, it should differ by no more than 50 mm. Reasons: Blockage in the pipeline. Wedge gas meter. The faucet in front of the machine is clogged. Problems with EMC automation. Low network pressure.
Tell me, please, I have Keber 12.5, the burner burns for a very long time for 4-12 minutes, and when the transition to the fuse, then 10 minutes.
The burner burns until it reaches the set temperature, and if there is heat loss, it may not turn off.
There is a boiler Keber KSG-10K-06. Began to turn off spontaneously. Year of manufacture 2012, installed in the fall of 2016.
Check the igniter, all contacts and the draft sensor.
Gas boiler KSG-8. When you set 1 2 or 3 even up to 6, the temperature always costs 80. What is the problem, do not tell me?
In the temperature sensor or bypass valve.
Boiler KS-G, automatic comfort 36, turn on the burner, it works for 3 minutes and goes out. Blowed, cleaned, does not help. I did not understand what kind of adjusting screw, what to do with it or not to touch it, what is the reason?
Perhaps the draft sensor is triggered or the thermocouple is not warming up well. It is better not to touch the screw, it does not affect it.
Tell me how to solve the problem with the KSG-12.5 boiler with Eurosit 630 automation? I light the igniter and turn on the main burner, the burner lights up and after a while (from a few seconds to several minutes) the flame fades out, as it were, and the igniter goes out. Moreover, if the main burner is not started, the igniter works constantly.
Not enough gas. Clogged faucet, faulty meter, filter, etc.
I can not start my gas boiler kgf-10. When you press the button, the gas goes out, after which I set it on fire with a match, according to the instructions, you need to wait a few seconds, then release and turn to the desired division, and so when the button is released, the gas goes out.
Many reasons: The igniter burns weakly. The thermocouple is defective. Traction sensor broken.
In operation, the gas boiler KS-G-25-06 with Eurosit 630 automation, manufactured in 2011-2012. Lost door with factory sticker. Is there any other way to identify its number or at least the year of manufacture?
The number and year of issue is in the passport, and the year of issue can also be viewed on the burner.
The boiler has a power of 10 kW, and the burner is 24 kW, do they not fit together?
Yes. Your unit requires a 12 kW burner.
I decided to change the entire burner with automatics. Since I can not solve the problem with the device in another way. I am advised to burner Hubert 24. Will it fit the Keber boiler and will it solve my problem with the main burners that did not go out?
Hubert is not particularly familiar with the burner, but he looked at it, it looks the same as everything that is sold with us. The only thing that caught my eye was that it did not have a gas sieve valve on it, but a Chinese one, which is cheaper. The burner is selected according to the power of the unit, look at what you have, set this power. And there may be a problem with the installation of the temperature sensor.
In operation, the Keber floor boiler, a flame is burning from the jets, what is the problem, tell me?
The bypass valve needs to be changed.
Tell me, the Keber 12.5 boiler with Arbat automatics constantly goes out. What is the reason?
From the thermocouple, the wires go up and where the contacts are fixed at the top, move them, they tend to oxidize on the contacts.
Malfunction of the boiler KS-G. I put on "6", the temperature rises to 60 degrees and turns off. It cools down to 40-50 degrees and turns on again. What is the reason or is it supposed to be like this?
Most likely a blockage in the system. It is also possible that the thermostat is not set.
Malfunction of the boiler Keber KS-G 12.5. During operation, some puffing was noticed in the igniter window. This phenomenon is alarming, there is also another problem, it is as follows, in the position of the regulator by 3 or more, the main burner stops turning off, the device works without stopping. When I return the regulator to 2, the device starts working as expected, worked - turned off, according to the set cycle. Tell me, what could be the problem?
If the temperature matches the figure, then most likely the gas pressure is low.
The thermocouple on the Keber 12.5 floor boiler (Arbat automatics) broke down, I went to the store, there is a thermocouple without a union nut, and on the device it is a union nut, I did not unscrew it, but it seems to be a union nut.
The thermocouple is ordinary, unscrew and change to a new one.
In operation, the Keber KS-G-10 gas boiler with Eurosit 630 automation works normally up to position 3, i.e. reaches a certain temperature and switches to the wick, keeps the temperature, from position 4 starts to raise the temperature, i.e. burners burn constantly, does not go to the wick. At 3 it dials up to 60 and switches to the igniter, at 4 the burners burn constantly and the temperature rises to 100, after which the burners dim slightly. Two days ago it worked fine, at 6 it kept 80-90 degrees, i.e. dialed 90 degrees switched to the igniter until the temperature drops.
If at 3 it reaches 60 degrees and switches to the igniter, and at 4 it doesn’t pick up temperature, then either the gas pressure is weak, or low power boiler or large heat losses. The temperature sensor is responsible for the temperature, if it is not working, then it will boil at any number, perhaps not all the kerosene has flowed out and it still covers the gas passage, check for another 3+, if it does not go out, change the temperature sensor.
In operation, the Keber gas boiler does not raise the temperature above 50 degrees, what could be the reason?
The reason may be low gas pressure.
Faulty boiler Keber. Small, with water heater, installed in December 2012. Worked well. Two days ago, they seem to have reduced the gas pressure in the network ( gas stove works), and it went out, because all winter it was at the minimum of the knob with numbers, even the gas valve to the unit had to be reduced (in frosts, the pressure was increased, and mine was at a minimum before that). I solved it this way: I opened the gas valve, the wick lit from the 5th click of the piezo, after a minute of holding the igniter button, the burners lit up, burned out for 2 hours, went out. Time is night. 2nd attempt: the wick ignited from the 12th click of the piezo, the burners ignited after 5 minutes of holding the igniter button, burned out for 2 hours, went out. Midnight time. 4 more attempts to ignite it to no avail. Second night without heat. The wick lights up quickly, 1-3 clicks of the piezo, it burns while I hold the button (I suffered for about half an hour last night), I release the button - the wick goes out, the burners do not light up. Tried in the morning, afternoon, at night, again in the morning. Tell me, is there a malfunction in the boiler, or should we wait for an increase in gas pressure in the network? It was the thermocouple that burned out. Now replaced, works fine.
With the new thermocouple, the device turned on immediately, worked, warmed up, reduced to 80 ° C (it worked flawlessly, the flame was strong, it could only be reduced with a tap). Now it has gone out, and now the burners do not light up either. The wick lights up, the thermocouple is in its place, it is installed with a screw, it will not move somewhere to the side, it is in the flame. I release the igniter button after 5 minutes of holding, the wick goes out, the fire remains very small (maybe the remaining gas in the tube burns out), it does not reach the thermocouple, the burners do not light up. Automation Orion, boiler KS-G-10-04. What can be wrong? We checked the thermocouple, it works, heated up, gives current. What else could be causing the problem? Maybe in the draft sensor, or what is the name of the hollow tube (on the wire in the winding), which is inserted into the hole in the upper part of the tank of the device, on our left? And on the right, a wire from a thermometer is inserted into the hole.
The tube in the winding is a temperature sensor. The thrust sensor is higher, either wires or a tube go to it. Take out the thermometer. You do not have a draft sensor, since it is not a native thermocouple. Now what needs to be done - where the thermocouple is screwed in, there is a square nut; unscrew the thermocouple a little, tighten the nut, and then tighten the thermocouple with only a little effort so as not to crush it. If you need the thrust sensor to work, then a gap is placed between the thermocouple, the nut and wires with connectors, we connect the sensor and the gap. Now about the temperature sensor, if it is damaged, the unit will not respond to temperature.
They replaced the thermocouple and the igniter tube with new ones, the boiler lights up, runs smoothly, does not puff, but another problem has appeared. There is a small flame between the white button and the temperature control knob from the fuse. You can detect it with a lighter when checking for gas poisoning, when you light the device, there is no flame on the fuse on the igniter. Only when you turn on the burners. Tell me, what could it be?
It's not a fuse, it's a small flame adjustment screw on the burner. It has a rubber ring on it, and it poisons through it. Ideally, replace the ring, and so, if the bypass valve is set and there is no breakthrough, put out the boiler and drip thick paint into the hole where the screw is. Wait until dry and turn on the machine.
Installed and connected gas boiler KS-G, 250 sq. m. When ignited, it does not turn off, the temperature rises, if I'm not mistaken, Arbat 1 automation. The flame is not regulated - too large. What to do?
Adjust or replace the temperature sensor.
In operation, the Keber KS-G-16 K floor-standing boiler has been working properly for almost 6 years. AT recent times began to click when heated and cooled. System without pump ( metal pipes). Tell me what you can do yourself? Will it last through the winter?
Doesn't affect speed. It's inside some kind of metal heats up and cools down. It will last more than one winter. The back where the exit from the unit hot water, should be slightly higher for air to escape.
Installed gas. boiler KS-G-10, automation Eurosit 630. Installed, launched. A small problem has been detected, only the left side of the pilot burner lights up during ignition. I release the control handle - it goes out, I turn on the ignition again and then set fire to the right side, and then everything goes according to plan. The unit works perfectly in all modes. The problem is in the ignition of the pilot burner. What do you advise to do?
Remove the igniter and slightly straighten the center and right sides with a thin screwdriver.
Malfunction of the boiler Keber-12.5, Arbat automation, 2005. At the point of contact between the thermocouple and automation, gas poisons, ignites when the flame from the burners passes to the wick. Yesterday I launched it, and this morning I found a light, the automation warmed up from it. I looked because the batteries were not hot, that is, after it ignited there, the burners no longer ignited. How to neutralize the leak and shouldn't the automation in this case turn off the gas supply completely?
If there was a fire, then the magnetic plug could melt and the rubber ring could harden. Eliminated by replacing the plug and ring.
What happens if the pump does not work. There is no electricity, but the boiler is on fire. Nothing will burn, for example, a fuse or something else?
If the automation is working, then everything will be fine. The device will heat up and turn off, there will be one igniter, which will turn on again when it cools down.
Boiler failure Keber 12.5. A click is heard, the regulator goes like clockwork, the bellows at the end warped, or rather the metal sheathing, like a sleeve, where it joins the spring, I don’t know how dangerous it is and how to explain it better. The flame increases and decreases on its own as needed. I didn’t see if it was switching to the wick, I watched for half an hour, there was no more time to look. The only thing that is not for me, that is, not as before, the flame is stronger. That's why I suspect that the bypass screw was still turned. I put the thrust sensor in place, the hole for it was simply screwed in, I eliminated all leaks, I installed a gas filter in front of the device. What can I do to still turn off the wick?
The bypass screw is responsible for the small flame, and it is not worth turning it back and forth. The fact that the flame is regulated is good, but if the thermal valve was turned, this is very bad. You won’t be able to set it up yourself, and, as I understand it, you don’t have masters. And yet - the flame is stronger when turned on. The thermal valve is responsible for the transition to the igniter, if everything else is normal.
Keber 10 was installed for a couple of months, I set it to 3, it gains 50 degrees and turns off, but the radiators are not hot. I bled air from the radiators, but there is no sense. I called a specialist, he said that the pump is heating up, replace the pump. I put a new one more powerful, but it also heats up and nothing has changed. What could be the reason?
If the gas boiler reaches the set temperature and turns off, then the problem is not in the unit. Check if the system is full.
Malfunction of the boiler Keber 12.5, Arbat automation. They installed new automation, domestic, not Chinese. When turned on for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, it burns for a minute, one and a half, and then only the wick and the burner does not light up again, the fire pops up on the nozzles. At 6-ke, it does not burn for a long time at first, then the flame is low and the fire jumps out onto the nozzles, when you extinguish it, then after 15-20 minutes the burner lights up again and burns the same, constantly, does not decrease. How to adjust?
Fastening screws for an asterisk or a conventional screwdriver. Bypass valve adjustment is also required for temperature.
We connected the gas and installed the KS-G 10 boiler, the temperature does not rise above 60 degrees, what is the reason?
There are many reasons - from gas pressure to heat loss at home.
In operation, the Keber boiler with Orion-21 automation. It happens like this - I press the ignition valve, the gas goes to the igniter, it lights up. The valve held even 3 minutes, I release the valve, and the burner does not light up (the gas does not flow). The igniter goes out (in normal mode, the main burners should light up). I checked the draft sensor, it is closed (normal), 18mV comes out from the thermocouple during normal burning of the igniter (it seems to be the norm too?), The thermocouple is washed by the flame well, the "Stop" button is closed (normal), there may be a solenoid valve (I call it, it shows briefly). And should there be a resistance of 18mV? There are no characteristics written on the valve.
Where the thermocouple comes in, there is a branching to the draft sensor, right? Then check the contacts, better solder. Tighten the connections well. There may be a problem with contact oxidation. If not, connect the thermocouple directly to the gas valve. Check what exactly doesn't work for you. You can not leave without a thrust sensor.

We installed and connected the Buderus Logano G234-WS-44 kW boiler, Logomatic 4211 automation. Heating on cylinders without hot water supply, jets for reduced gas were also replaced. We survived the winter, the cylinders were replaced, all without problems. Then in the spring, when the temperature outside was +16+18, the boiler began to turn off for a long time and, when turned on, it began to give a burner error on the screen and a red button light on the front wall lit up. We pressed the button, turned on the power again and everything worked. It happened several times, then the boiler was completely turned off for the summer, what could be the problem?

In operation, the Keber KS-G-10 gas boiler, manufactured in 2010, shows a temperature of 50, but stands at 2 and does not turn off. Is this normal or is it fraught with consequences or is something wrong? There are such cases that he completely goes out, you have to set fire to the wick again. But if it switched to a small flame, then the temperature on the sensor would, I think, fall, but it does not fall, so it does not go over, or what?
You probably meant on a thermometer, and when the temperature is reached, the sensor switches to a small flame, and when it is exceeded, it turns off the main burner. If everything is fine with you, then the temperature is not reached. This is what happens when circulation pump or large heat losses. Move the knob towards one, if the burner goes out, then everything is fine in this part.
A floor-standing boiler Keber 12.5 with Arbat automation was installed, so far everything has been flawless and now there are malfunctions. To my remarks that after reaching the desired temperature, the main burner should completely go out and light up again when a certain temperature is reached when cooling down, the master does not agree. He states that there must be a small flame on the main burner. As a result, I have a high gas consumption. Also, where is the thermostat? In the instructions, except for the thermocylinder and thermocouple, did you find anything else?
Yes, the boiler must increase the temperature, switch to a small flame and, when the set temperature is reached, turn off the main burner. You need to check the thermal valve, judging by the time and symptoms, it's time to change it. But here the problem is - you can’t find Russian ones anymore, but the Chinese ones work as they want, plus you also need a master to be able to set it up. If the nozzles on the collector light up when switching to a small flame, then you will have to solve the problem.
The thermal valve is located under the cover between the white button and the knob with numbers.
In operation, the gas boiler KS-G-25-06 with Eurosit 630 automation, manufactured in 2011-2012. Lost door with factory sticker. Is there any other way to identify its number or at least the year of manufacture?
The number and year of issue is in the passport, as well as the year of issue can be viewed on the burner.
The boiler has a power of 10 kW, and the burner is 24 kW, do they not fit together?
Yes. Your boiler needs a 12 kW burner.
I decided to change the entire burner with automatics. Since I can not solve the problem with the device in another way. I am advised to burner Hubert 24. Will it fit my Keber boiler and will it solve my problem with the main burners that did not go out?
Hubert is not particularly familiar with the burner, but he looked at it, it looks the same as everything that is sold with us. The only thing that caught my eye was that it did not have a gas sieve valve on it, but a Chinese one, which is cheaper. The burner is selected according to the power of the boiler, look at what you have, set this power.
When I return the regulator to 2, the boiler starts to work as expected, worked - turned off, according to the set cycle.
If at 3 it reaches 60 degrees and switches to the igniter, and at 4 it does not gain temperature, then either the gas pressure is low, or the boiler's low power or large heat losses.
Two days ago, it seemed that the gas pressure in the network was reduced (the gas stove is working), and the boiler went out, because all winter it was at the minimum of the handle with numbers, even the gas tap to the unit had to be reduced (in frosts, the pressure was increased, and mine was even before that was at a minimum). The wick lights up quickly, 1-3 clicks of the piezo, it burns while I hold the button (I suffered for about half an hour last night), I release the button - the wick goes out, the burners do not ignite.
Lately it has been making a clicking sound when it warms up and cools down. System without pump (metal pipes). Tell me what you can do yourself? Will it last through the winter?
Doesn't affect speed. It is in the boiler that some metal heats up and cools down. It will last more than one winter. The back part, where the hot water boiler exits, should be slightly higher for air to escape.
Yesterday I started the boiler, and this morning I found a light, the automation warmed up from it. I looked because the batteries were not hot, that is, after it ignited there, the burners no longer ignited. How to neutralize the leak and should not
automatic in this case, turn off the gas supply completely?
If there was a fire, then the magnetic plug could melt and the rubber ring could harden. Eliminated by replacing the plug and ring.
What happens if the pump does not work. There is no electricity, but the boiler is on fire. Nothing will burn, for example, a fuse or something else?
If the automation is working, then everything will be fine. The boiler will heat up and turn off, there will be one igniter, which will turn on again when it cools down.
